​Kecskemét, 28-29 August 2021 - SAC staff greeted aviation enthusiast and distinguished visitors during its static C-17 display at the International Kecskemét Airshow organized by the Hungarian Defense Forces.

A handful of SAC representatives, including Heavy Airlift Wing staff, NATO Airlift Management Programme, and Boeing Hungary employees, set up tent on the tarmac at Szentgyörgyi Dezső Air Base in Kecskemét, Hungary over the weekend to bring the multinational program closer to the aviation-enthusiast public.

One of our SAC C-17-s barely made it back on time from the Afghanistan Evacuation Emergency Response Mission to pose as static display at the very end of the exhibition area. Our particual tail sign was visible from far, given that the SAC C-17 was the largest military aircraft exhibited at the airshow.

Our volunteers engaged with everyone interested not only in SAC-03, the C-17, but in SAC-04, a custom-painted Trabant, as well.
