The Mobile Intensive Care Units (ICU) are fully equipped for independent mobile operation.

The Dutch Caribbean has limited capacities to care for the sudden surge of COVID-19 patients, especially the ones needing intensive care and ventilation. These ICU's will significantly increase the island's capacity to save lives of residents in a critical condition.
