The offsite training area, suitable for low-level flying, is close to the Norwegian and Finnish borders. This allowed the C-17 and its crews to train with units from Member Nations Norway and Finland in addition to collaboration with training host Sweden.

The week-long training mission maintained and enhanced SAC capabilities in addition to providing an opportunity to undertake team building exercises for participating SAC personnel.
